Hi, I’m Emie, the fiber artist with a dream based in Virginia USA. I started working with raw fleece in 2025 because I wanted to understand the full journey from sheep to yarn. The more I learned, the more I realized how much incredible wool is grown right here in the United States, and how many beautiful fleeces are overlooked simply because it takes a lot of work to process them.

What began as a personal curiosity has quickly turned into a passion for giving these fleeces a second life. I now source raw wool from small American farms and prepare it in my home, turning it into roving and fiber that makers can use for spinning, felting, and crafting. I label each batch with the breed and origin so the story stays connected to the wool.

My goal is simple: to make local, breed specific fiber accessible for anyone who wants to work with it, without the cost or overwhelm of processing an entire fleece. I love sharing the unique qualities of different breeds and helping others discover the joy of working with wool that has real character and history.
